<p>This intensive is a progressive workshop series develops the foundations for a safe, expressive, acroyoga practice.  Participants learn techniques of integration, alignment, and  communication specific to the roles of base, flyer, and spotter in this four part series.  The goal is to leave participants inspired to practice confidently, creatively  and compassionately…its to build community and trust, work hard, and have a blast.</p>
<p><strong>Friday (part 1)  7:30-10:00pm</strong></p>
<p>&#8220;Acroyoga Basics&#8221; Is about the fundamental concepts of Acroyoga as practiced in the unique style of Acroyoga Montreal.  Participants will practice each of the three roles, base, spotter, and flyer and how they integrate with each other as they as they discover the &#8220;Creative Process&#8221; focusing on breath integrated movement, improvisation, and dynamic interaction.</p>
<p><strong>Saturday (part2)  1:30-4:30pm</strong></p>
<p>&#8220;Basecamp&#8221; introduces basic to more advanced techniques that will improve skills as a base that inspire confidence in the flyer.  Learn integration techniques that improve balance and alignment, develop effective communication skills, and how to lead your flyer.</p>
<p><strong>Saturday (part 3) 5:30-8:30pm</strong></p>
<p>&#8220;Shooting Stars&#8221; is about learning techniques that improve confidence and creative expression as a flyer.  Flyers learn to soften, integrate, and communicate more effectively with their bases in this workshop.  Discover and learn inversions, spinning flares, and a &#8216;washing machine&#8217; or two as well as fundamentals of controlled mounts and dismounts.</p>
<p><strong>Sunday (part 4)  3:30-6:30pm</strong></p>
<p>&#8220;Creative Process&#8221; is a movement inspired workshop that stitches the base and flyer together with each breath, it is really what sets Montreal style acroyoga apart.  Learn to create flows and improvise on and off the mat as the lines between base and flyer blur.</p>
<p>Yoga experience and/or a background in dynamic movement based activities is recommended for this workshop but is not necessary.</p>
<p>You do not need a partner to attend this workshop.</p>

<p dir="ltr">Noorish is a multi-faceted urban ecovillage, that includes an organic vegetarian restaurant, a teaching kitchen, a retail storefront and a yoga studio.  Above and beyond regular dining, the restaurant features live music on weekends, concert evenings, DJ’d dance parties, private rentals, food workshops and other special events.</p>
<h3 dir="ltr">Main Duties</h3>
<p dir="ltr">- prepare recipes, soak food, and cut vegetables as per Shift Prep List.</p>
<p dir="ltr">- perform stock level and temperature checks once per shift.</p>
<p dir="ltr">- keep records of quantities of food used and/or wastage.</p>
<p dir="ltr">- maintain a clean working environment and perform shift duty lists.</p>
<p dir="ltr">- assist with Weekend Specials development, food-costing and new menu ideas.</p>
<p dir="ltr">- clean, peel, slice and trim vegetables using manual appliances.</p>
<p dir="ltr">- use blenders, food processors, ovens and stoves to prepare living food and vegetarian cuisine.</p>
<h3 dir="ltr">Requirements</h3>
<p dir="ltr">- minimum 6 months experience as a line cook; more than 2 years experience is an asset.</p>
<p dir="ltr">- ability to work efficiently with others as well as being self motivated is required.</p>
<p dir="ltr">- personal interest in organic or vegetarian cooking, community atmosphere, holistic health, conscious lifestyle, and superfoods are all assets.</p>
