The warm acoustics of Duane Forrest will reawaken your soul to the story of l’amour. Delivering in several languages, Duane weaves bossa nova, jazz, and soul to create an organic sound inspired by his search for love in his hometown Toronto, Ontario and around the world.
Duane was born on August 20th, and was raised in Toronto, Canada. Since then, he has had the chance to learn many instruments and has lived in Mexico, Honduras and Puerto Rico. Duane’s passion is music, but more importantly, love.
“Apple in the Tree” is Duane’s first major album release. It is an album filled with warm, honest acoustic music. Duane uses the proceeds of the album and tour sales to raise money for non-profit organization efforts in Latin America, anywhere from working with poor children to drug addicts. Duane currently has a school of the arts in Honduras, Central America.
The school is called Genesis.
